The Alchemy Within

We look for support around

Without knowing within us it is found;

But what we have we value less

Though that is what makes up the base.

Within us lies the ability of alchemy

The two elements being Friend and Enemy;

Within us reside both

Upto us it is, which one to carry forth.

The outside support we seek

Is the inside enemy at its peak;

Look inside and you have your friend

And the need for the outside will end.

The inherent alchemy is a double edged sword

Peaked Enemy may result into Friend conquered;

Then conquest for support will be a mirage

Like a temple never found in a pilgrimage.

Use the art of alchemy with care

And the Friend within will soar;

The Enemy converted into Friend

That is the support which will never end.
